Off-peak memberships
Golf O'Clock lets you sell an off-peak membership that only books your quiet hours. Off-peak members see just the times they can use, at their member rate, so the tier fills slow weekdays with committed regulars without giving away prime time.

How it works
Create an off-peak membership that tags its members. Then:
- Hide peak times from off-peak members, so they only see the hours they can book. This uses the same member-only hours and booking rules as the rest of your schedule.
- Back it up with a rule that refuses peak bookings with a clear message, in case anyone tries.
- Give them a member rate for the hours they can use, alongside your peak and off-peak pricing.
Everyone else still sees the full schedule.
Why venues use it
Quiet weekday hours are your hardest to sell. In Golf O'Clock booking data from July 2025 to June 2026, peak-season utilization was 44% on Saturdays and Fridays but 32% on Mondays. An off-peak tier fills those quieter hours with committed members who pay every month, without discounting the evenings and weekends that already sell out. It also gives price-conscious players a way in, and some later upgrade. For the wider trade-off, see memberships vs pay-as-you-go.
Common questions
- Can off-peak members book peak time at full price instead?
- Yes, if you prefer. Skip the restriction and give them the member rate only at off-peak times.
- Can my staff still book an off-peak member into a peak slot?
- Yes. You can let staff override the restriction from the desk.
- What happens when the membership ends?
- The off-peak restrictions and rate stop with it.
- Can off-peak members see peak times at all?
- That's your choice. Hide them completely, or show them and explain the rule when someone tries to book.
