Member-only hours and booking rules

Golf O'Clock lets you hide times from some customers and refuse bookings that break your rules, with a clear message. Your booking page doesn't have to show the same thing to everyone.

In short: Use Golf O'Clock booking rules to decide who can book which times: member-only hours, off-peak tiers, minimum notice, group limits and custom booking messages.

Hide what isn't for them

Show different times to different people:

  • Member-only hours, such as early mornings that only members can book.
  • Off-peak tiers, where cheaper off-peak memberships only see quiet times.
  • Bay rules, such as keeping one simulator off the booking page on weekends.
  • Demand-based availability, opening or closing times depending on how busy you already are.

Who counts as a member, student or partner comes from your customer tags.

Refuse a booking, with a reason

Some rules are better explained than hidden. Refuse bookings that are made too late, too long, or too large for a group, and show your own message, such as "Groups over 8, please call us."

Your messages on the booking page

Add an introduction at the top of the booking page, your terms just before payment, and a confirmation message after booking, for parking notes or house rules.

Common questions

Should I hide times or refuse bookings?
Hide times that a customer can never book, so the page stays clean. Refuse bookings when the customer should understand the rule.
Can staff book outside these rules?
Staff can see and book hidden times when taking phone and walk-in bookings. For booking rules, you choose whether they apply to staff too or only to customers booking online.
Can I set fixed start times for clinics?
Yes. Some booking types can start only at the times you list.
