How to set peak and off-peak pricing for your golf simulators
In Golf O'Clock, you set peak and off-peak pricing by adding pricing rules to a base rate: charge more on weekday evenings and weekends, less in quiet hours, and add holiday and member rates. Your Friday 7 PM slot and your Tuesday 10 AM slot are not worth the same.

Peak and off-peak pricing lets you charge what each hour is really worth, fill quiet times, and earn more from the busy ones. In Golf O'Clock booking data from July 2025 to June 2026, peak-season utilization was 44% on Fridays and Saturdays and 32% on Mondays.
What you can price on
A price is built from a base rate plus pricing rules. Each rule says when it applies and what it does to the price. A rule can look at:
- Time of day and day of week, for evening and weekend rates.
- Specific dates, for holidays, school breaks or special events.
- The bay, so premium simulators can cost more than standard ones.
- The customer, so members, juniors or corporate clients get their own rate.
- How busy you are, so prices can rise as the venue fills up.
Fair pricing when a booking crosses peak time
If someone books from 4 PM to 7 PM and peak starts at 5 PM, they pay the off-peak rate for the first hour and the peak rate for the rest. Nobody pays peak for time spent in the quiet hours, and you never under-charge for the busy ones.
Setting it up
- Set your standard hourly rate per bay.
- Add a peak rule, for example weekday evenings from 5 PM and all day on weekends, with the extra amount you want to charge.
- Add any member or off-peak discounts.
- Check a few example bookings, then save. New prices apply to new bookings straight away.

Common questions
- Can I set special prices for holidays?
- Yes. Add a rule for a date or a date range, such as the week between Christmas and New Year.
- Do members still get their discount at peak times?
- Yes, if you want them to. Member discounts can apply on top of your peak rate, or members can have their own fixed rate. An off-peak membership is another option.
- Can prices change automatically when we're nearly full?
- Yes. Demand-based rules can add a surcharge once a share of your bays is booked around that time, and can discount slots that are still wide open.
- Does changing a price affect bookings already made?
- No. Existing bookings keep the price the customer agreed to.
