Walk-up bookings with a QR code on every bay

With Golf O'Clock's Screen Marshal, every locked bay shows a QR code. Walk-ups scan it, book that bay, pay and start playing, with no staff needed. Someone standing in front of an empty bay should be able to play in minutes.

In short: Take walk-up golf simulator bookings with a QR code on every locked bay. Walk-ups scan, book that bay, pay and play in Golf O'Clock, with no staff needed.
Golf O'Clock booking with a door access code for a self-serve golf venue

How it works

  1. The locked bay screen shows a QR code.
  2. The customer scans it, and your booking page opens with that bay already selected.
  3. They choose how long, sign in with their phone number and pay.
  4. They unlock the bay from their booking and play.

The QR code is there because Screen Marshal locks the simulator between bookings.

Why it matters

Walk-up revenue no longer depends on someone being at the desk. It works during staffed hours too, so customers don't have to queue. That makes it a good fit for hybrid venues that are staffed some hours and self-serve the rest.

Why venues use it

Walk-ups are easy revenue that's often lost when the desk is busy or closed. A QR code on each bay turns curiosity into a booking in a couple of minutes, and payment is taken before the bay unlocks. It's one of the pieces of an unmanned 24/7 golf simulator venue.

Common questions

Do walk-ups pay the same price?
Yes. Normal pricing, member rates and promotions all apply.
Can I print the QR code for the door?
The bay code is specific to that bay. For the entrance, use a QR code to your main booking page.
What if that bay was just booked by someone else?
The customer simply picks another time or bay.
