Managing your bays and simulators

Each simulator in your venue is a bay in Golf O'Clock. How you set them up decides which bays customers can book, which fill first, and what each one costs.

In short: Manage golf simulator bays in Golf O'Clock: add bays, label premium and standard simulators, control which bays fill first, and take a bay out of service.

Adding bays

Add each bay with the name your customers use, such as "Bay 3" or "Trackman Suite". Label bays by type, for example premium and standard, or by what they're for, such as lessons or fitting.

Which bays fill first

When customers don't choose a bay, the system picks one for them. You decide the order, so bookings fill from one end of the venue and keep your schedule tidy. A specialty bay can be set to fill last, so it stays free for the bookings that need it.

Fill order matters because most bays have open time. In Golf O'Clock booking data from July 2025 to June 2026, median utilization in peak season (November to April) was 41%.

Common questions

Can customers choose their bay?
Yes, if you allow it for that booking option. Otherwise the system assigns one.
How do I take a bay out of service?
Give it shorter hours or close it for the dates you need. Existing bookings can be moved to another bay on the calendar.
Can large groups book several bays?
Yes. Bookings can span several bays, and you set how many players fit per bay.
